From Renovated Classics To Suburban Gems, Here Are A Few Of Our Favourites...

1. The Boatshed Woronora

This historic boatshed has just undergone a major renovation and the much-loved cafe is now back and better than ever. Located on a peaceful arm of the Woronora River, the Boatshed is open seven days a week serving yummy breakfast and lunch classics. Their Bacon & Roll is one of the best in The Shire whilst their Boatshed Platter is ideal for special occasions. This 3-tiered tower includes pancakes, waffles, halloumi, bacon, hashbrowns and more and can be ordered for two or three to share - the perfect birthday treat! With serene river views, the option to hire a canoe for a morning paddle and delicious food and coffee, there’s so much to love. 131 Prince Edward Park Road, Woronora

2. The Nuns Pool

If crisp, minimalist interiors and considered menus get your heart racing, The Nuns Pool is a must-try for breakfast or lunch. Located opposite Shelly Beach in Cronulla, this cafe oozes a simple yet authentic vibe and is a world away from the hustle and bustle of Cronulla CBD. The breaky menu promises comforting favourites from warm chai spiced oats to chilli fried eggs. For lunch, expect a Mediterranean touch, perfect for an afternoon by the water. 103 Ewos Parade, Cronulla

3. Mims Espresso

There’s something about a cafe tucked away from the large shopping strips that holds a certain charm. Mims is a peaceful place where you can pick up your morning brew or linger over breakfast with friends. They’re open seven days so you’ve got no excuses. Their menu changes with the seasons but you can expect goodies like Folded Egg White Omelettes, Chive Scrambled Eggs, toasties, wraps and baked goods. 2/145-149 Woolooware Road, Burraneer

4. Oli’s Cafe

There are so many features to love about Oli’s - the leafy location, the sun-drenched courtyard (playground included) and the delicious menu. On top of having plenty of options for the adults - think Breakfast Tacos, Beef Brisket Sandwich and Eggys Benny - Oli’s has a specially curated menu for the kiddies, complete with customised plates and cutlery. We love that you can also book ahead! 103 Miranda Road, Miranda

5. Oak Davis

Oak Davis is the kind of place you could become a regular and still be surprised with new goodies on the regular. The staff are incredibly friendly and they’ve got the sweetest courtyard area for you to enjoy your morning coffee or tasty lunch. Impeccably presented, you can look forward to indulgent dishes like Fried Chicken Pancakes and Oak’s Croque Madame alongside healthier options like Acai bowls and salads. P.S. Word on the street is Oak Davis is opening their doors for dinner soon… BYO available! Keep your eyes peeled on their socials for the launch of what is bound to be a delicious dinner menu. 744 Old Princes Highway, Sutherland
